What we do
Our mission is to help our clients create engaging cultures by promoting positive change that drives employee engagement and business performance.
Employee experience surveys are the best way to begin improving levels of employee engagement and 360 degree feedback is the best way to develop leadership behaviour and reinforce the organisation’s culture.
We have been providing employee experience surveys and 360 degree feedback to our clients since 2005, but in 2017 we set about building our own survey platform as we saw how technology can increase the efficiency and speed of running employee surveys.
Who we are
After a degree in Psychology, Paul qualified as an HR professional before moving into L&D. Having got fed up with corporate life, Paul founded Realworld in 2005.
After a degree in IT Rachael managed IT teams before qualifying as a leadership coach. Rachael joined Realworld in 2007.

We work with clients across a wide range of sectors and in organisations of all different sizes.
Some of are clients are large PLCs with thousands of people, some are small companies with less than 200 people.
We also support independent consultants who need to deliver an employee experience survey or 360 degree feedback for their own clients.

Some of our clients have never run a survey before so they really appreciate a bit of guidance when it comes to the survey design, admin and reporting.
Some of our clients come to us as they have been a bit disappointed by a previous supplier. Usually because they felt they didn’t get as much value out of it as they thought they might.
Some of our clients have tried to go it alone using a tool such as SurveyMonkey and recognised that it is much more time consuming to run the survey and then manually do all of the data analysis and reporting themselves.

This means we are much more responsive and flexible in our approach. We pride ourselves on providing much higher levels of service than you might get from a larger consultancy. And we pretty much guarantee that we will be more cost-effective.
We tailor everything we do
We believe the survey is yours, not ours. Everything we deliver is bespoke to your business to ensure that you get exactly what you need. We have our own question libraries for employee surveys and 360 degree feedback so we can use those as a starting point, but we will always tailor it to ensure it looks and feels like your survey.
Ours is not a self-service solution.
We know that you’re mega busy so we will save you time by managing the whole process for you. We’ll use our experience of being trusted by lots of other companies to guide you through the key decisions that need to be made and what we need from you, but you can rely on us to manage the project and get on with doing the set up work for you.
We’ll go as fast or as slow as you want and we don’t charge by the hour so we’ll invest as much time as is needed to work with you through the design process.
